Simba and I explored Casa Grande Ruins National Monument in Coolidge, Arizona — home to one of the most impressive and mysterious ancient structures in the American Southwest. Built by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert people more than 600 years ago, the massive multi-story Great House still stands today, protected beneath its iconic roof and surrounded by the quiet desert landscape that once supported a thriving community.
