✈️ Preston’s Pride World War II B-17 Bomber – Tulare, California
Simba 🐾 and I visited Preston’s Pride in Tulare, California — a historic B-17 Flying Fortress bomber that proudly sits near Mefford Field as a lasting memorial to Tulare County’s World War II veterans.
This vintage aircraft serves as both a powerful symbol of courage and a unique roadside landmark for travelers along Highway 99. Originally flown to Tulare in 1958, the bomber was dedicated to honoring local servicemen and women who gave their all during wartime.
