Why the Turtle Rock Loop Trail Is a Must-Do
This trail is the perfect mix of natural beauty and accessibility. At about 3 miles, it’s a manageable loop that still delivers unforgettable views. The towering granite formations are the star of the show, offering both photo-worthy backdrops and a sense of awe as you walk beneath them.
We loved the contrast of shaded pine forests, sunny meadows, and sweeping vistas of the surrounding Medicine Bow National Forest. It’s an ideal trail for hikers of all levels, with plenty of spots to pause, take in the views, and let your pup enjoy the fresh mountain air.
