Simba πΎ and I made our way to Lucas, Kansas — a town bursting with creativity — to visit one of the most delightfully quirky museums in the country: the World’s Largest Collection of Smallest Versions of Largest Things. This whimsical spot is exactly what it sounds like — a room full of miniature replicas of famous “largest” landmarks from across the globe. Proof that big ideas can come in very small packages!

Located right in the heart of Lucas — the Grassroots Art Capital of Kansas — this tiny yet mighty museum is a tribute to roadside oddities and Americana charm. Inside, you’ll find painstakingly crafted miniatures of everything from giant chairs to oversized roadside sculptures, all reimagined in pocket-sized form. Each display comes with a fun backstory, making it as educational as it is entertaining.

While the museum itself is indoors and not pet-friendly, Lucas offers plenty of outdoor art and walkable streets where your furry friend can join the adventure. Simba enjoyed sniffing around the public sculptures while I explored inside.
