Simba 🐾 and I visited the eerie and fascinating Russell Gulch Ghost Town in Central City, Colorado. Once a thriving mining settlement during the Colorado Gold Rush of the mid-1800s, Russell Gulch is now a historic ghost town filled with abandoned buildings, relics, and echoes of the past.

Walking through the quiet streets, it’s easy to imagine life during its boom days when prospectors rushed to the Rocky Mountains in search of fortune. Today, the crumbling structures and weathered artifacts tell the story of a once-bustling community, now standing still in time.
