Simba and I took a step back in time to visit the Old Tobias Water Tower and Jail in Wilson, Kansas — a charming slice of small-town history that’s perfect for travelers who love discovering hidden gems.

This unique stop gave us a glimpse into the community’s past, with the rustic water tower standing tall as a local landmark and the old jail telling silent stories of days gone by. Walking around, you can almost imagine the life and times of the people who built, used, and relied on these structures.
