🥾 Trail Overview

The West Bluff Trail climbs gradually from the lakeshore up to the western cliffs of Devil’s Lake. With expansive views, massive boulders, and wooded switchbacks, it’s the kind of hike that rewards every step.

You can hike this as an out-and-back (2.8 miles) or loop it with the Tumbled Rocks Trail along the lakeshore for a more varied 3+ mile experience.

🐾 Simba’s Take

Simba tackled this one like a champ! He loved the climb, the breeze at the top, and the wide-open spots perfect for a good sit-and-sniff. The trail is well-maintained and offers plenty of shade and cool resting spots along the way.

🐶 Pro Tip: Bring water, take breaks on the way up, and keep pups leashed near the cliffs — the views are steep and spectacular!
