🔹 East Bluff Trail
This side of the loop climbs steadily and rewards hikers with panoramic views over Devil’s Lake’s signature turquoise waters. The trail hugs the edge of soaring quartzite cliffs with multiple overlooks for photos, snack breaks, and simply soaking in the natural beauty.

🔹 East Bluff Woods Trail
For a more shaded and peaceful return route, the East Bluff Woods Trail winds gently through dense forest. It’s a quieter section of the loop and a favorite for Simba — perfect for sniffing, trotting, and cooling off after the climb.

Simba loved every moment of this hike — from scrambling up stone steps to trotting through the woods and taking breaks in shady spots. The varied terrain kept things exciting, and the breezy bluffs made for some perfect photo ops.
