Simba 🐾 and I set out to explore one of the most breathtaking spots along Minnesota’s North Shore — Artist’s Point in Grand Marais. Nestled on the edge of Lake Superior, this scenic gem blends rugged beauty, small-town charm, and an endless horizon of crashing waves.

Walking out along the rocky shoreline, we were greeted with sweeping views of the Grand Marais Lighthouse, the bustling harbor, and the vibrant waterfront. The jagged volcanic rocks, shaped by centuries of waves and wind, made for the perfect backdrop to our adventure footage. From the spray of the lake to the calls of gulls overhead, every moment felt alive with coastal energy.

The path out to the lighthouse was a photographer’s dream — with textured stone underfoot, the lighthouse standing proudly at the edge, and the deep blues of Lake Superior stretching forever. Whether you’re snapping photos, sketching, or simply soaking in the fresh lake air, Artist’s Point lives up to its name.
