Built over decades by artist and historian Jim Bowsher in his own backyard, this massive rock garden and folk art sanctuary is a visual and spiritual journey. Winding paths lead you through towering stones, tucked-away monuments, and relics from all walks of American life — each one telling a story rooted in peace, understanding, and human connection.

• Historic artifacts and meaningful monuments built into the landscape

Simba wandered the peaceful garden paths beside me, curious and calm. With plenty of shade, soft ground, and quiet spaces, it was a perfect place for a thoughtful walk with my four-legged best friend.
