Hiking Raven Cliff Falls with Simba the Adventure Pup!
Hey friends! Ash here from Life on Paws and Wheels, back with another waterfall-packed adventure.
This time, Simba (my golden retriever and trail-loving co-pilot) and I headed to the Raven Cliff Falls Trail in White County, Georgia — and wow, what an incredible hike! If you love waterfalls, forest trails, and hiking with your pup, this is one North Georgia gem you need to put on your list.
It’s easily one of the most beautiful and iconic waterfall hikes in North Georgia, offering plenty of scenery and photo-worthy moments along the way.
✔️ Moderate terrain — gentle inclines and well-marked trails, great for most hiking dogs.
✔️ Lots of water access — a dream for water-loving pups (but always watch currents, especially after rain).
✔️ Shady forest cover — keeps the trail cool and comfortable even on warmer days.
π₯Ύ Wear sturdy shoes — some rocky and rooty sections, plus wet areas near the creek.
πΈ Hit the best photo spots — don’t miss the footbridges, mossy boulders, and of course, the final waterfall view.
π Stay on leash + follow trail etiquette — this is a popular hike, and you’ll likely meet other dogs and hikers.
In our latest video, Simba and I guide you through the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, show you the best sights, and share tips for making the most of this dog-friendly adventure.
